Cinema has been a ion of Jovan Vasiljević since childhood, but at some point, it grew so strong that he felt compelled to share it with others. As his love for film deepened, he also realized that countless movies deserved far more recognition. In 2019, he launched his Instagram page, and what started as a ion project has only grown, eventually inspiring him to pursue filmmaking himself.

His all-time favorite film is Amadeus—the movie that changed the way he sees cinema. Then there’s Andrei Rublev, because he’ll never forget his first encounter with Tarkovsky’s films—he had no idea something like that was even possible. He’d also add Man Bites Dog, a film that was and still is underrated. It’s certainly not for everyone, but for those it is, the gratitude for its existence is immeasurable.

As for TV shows, he says there’s a reason so many people consider The Sopranos the greatest series of all time.
